Advancing Human Mobility and Neurological Recovery.

Tomsen is an Australian health innovation company exploring better ways to help people recover movement, function and independence following neurological injury.

Our Mission

To help people recover more movement, function and independence after neurological injury.

What We're Exploring

Beginning with stroke.

Our initial research is focused on one of the most common and persistent challenges following stroke: restoring mobility and physical function, including walking, foot and limb movement.

We are exploring how rehabilitation, technology and better use of data could help people practise more effectively, understand their progress and continue working towards recovery beyond traditional rehabilitation settings.

Our Approach

"Listen first. Build second."

We believe meaningful health innovation starts with understanding the people experiencing the problem. Tomsen is engaging with stroke survivors, carers, clinicians, therapists and researchers to better understand where today's recovery pathways work — and where important needs remain unmet.

Our Long-Term Vision

Building one of the world's most important companies for human mobility and neurological recovery.

Our ambition extends beyond a single product or condition. We want to contribute to a future where technology, research and data help us better understand neurological recovery — and translate that understanding into practical solutions that help people live more independently.

We're Listening

We'd like to hear from you.

Tomsen is currently in its research and discovery stage. We would like to hear from stroke survivors, families, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, neurologists, researchers and organisations working in stroke recovery.

If you have experience, research or perspectives that could help us better understand the challenges of recovery after stroke, we'd love to hear from you.
